Monolith PKT - Rubber Adhesive

Monolith® PKT rubber adhesive is a two-component adhesive based on polychloroprene. It has been specially developed as a product for the responsible bonding of rubber to rubber and to metals. It can be used to combine both synthetic and natural rubber.

Monolith® PKT adhesive is resistant to salt water, atmospheric oxidation, oils, certain chemicals, aviation fuels, dilute acids and bases.

In some applications where resistance to moisture and higher temperatures is not required, Monolith® PKT can be used without a hardener.

Monolith® PKT rubber adhesive is used for the following purposes:

•      gluing belts for conveyors in power industry, mining, heating, etc;
•      construction of pneumatic rafts, boats, rescue pontoons;
•      production of life jackets;
•      sticking waterproof fabrics to various substrates;
•      bonding of diving suits;
•      production of flexible tanks for water and fuel;
•      lining steel tanks with chemically resistant rubber linings;
•      covering with rubber linings of driving drums;
•      sticking rubber gaskets to ship hatches;
•      sticking hard felt facings, plastics, laminates (unilam) etc .;
