Monolith CA 60-3 belongs to the group of cyanoacrylate adhesives. They are single-component, solvent-free adhesives that polymerize very quickly in reaction with moisture in the air. The time needed for the adhesive to cure depends only on the thinness of the layer and the small area. Therefore, the use of Cyanoacrylate Monolith adhesives requires that the joint be relatively small and flat. A thin layer is obtained by pressing the parts; then the complete hardening of the glue takes place in a matter of seconds to minutes. Monolith CA 60-3 is an odorless cyanoacrylate. Hence, it is very easy to use and irritation of the mucous membranes is basically ruled out. High viscosity allows filling larger gaps.
